bobbymcgee Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 I bet so. Though I think Nederland is the favorite to win that district with Kelvin Smith and Dionte Forney inside and Christian Stewart on the perimeter. Wait. Why is this thread in football? You mean they play football at Ozen?
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 i got ozen 4th. ned will not make it unless Forney comes back IMO
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I'll sum this one up......NOPE....
PURPLE 4EVER Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 PN-G, Central, and I still say Nederland are the top three dogs. The rest are really all packed together.Any of them could really get in.Will be interesting to see how it plays out.I could see a two or maybe three way tie in the win loss column for fourth place.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I believe that Central will prove that they are OVER RATED... :-*

Central will be ok. ;)That QB got thrown into something he wasnt ready for.I say CHS, PNG, LCM and then Ozen
raideroldtimer Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I'm gonna say sure Ozen we go to the playoffs, they're gonna want something to go watch when they don't have a basketball game. :o ;D

Yeoj Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I vote yes. Ozen has speed every where and a QB that can get the ball to that speed. Any team that doesn't has is secondary together is in for a long night.
ozens fastest@1906 Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I think Ozen played very well against a strong West Brook team who many forget is ranked #9 in the STATE.. The Panthers defense looked very impressive, but ran out of gas.. Yes they will be in the play-offs...
SASQUASH22 Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Absolutely, the Ozen Panthers will make the playoffs. Against WB,they displayed heart and the willingness to compete until the very end. As I indicated prior to the season, don't overlook these kids otherwise you will find yourself on the losing end of the scoreboard. I guarantee, the Panthers will get better and silence all their crictics.

bmtqj33 Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 fasho!!!!!ozen is going to shock 20 4A this year look out for the panters
Tim Riggins Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Any team that can win 4 games in 20-4A is usually a lock for the playoffs or at least in a tie for a playoff spot.
Raider42 Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 if you have 157 total yards in a game .... you wont make youth football playoffs...my vote is NO!
westend1 Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Hard to tell about Ozen. I thought they were pretty big on the oline, and they had time to throw, but just didn't hit some open receivers. The QB will get better. No game breaking RB, but if they can get the timing together, they have some speed.Defensively, they will have trouble stopping a strong running game, but they have some nice players in the secondary. I think they will upset a couple of teams and finish 4th or 5th.

Guest LR1969 Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Why not? It's anyone's guess right now but I would say they have just as good a shot as the rest of the "lower" half of 20-4A. I would call it a "longshot" but a shot nonetheless. The problem with Ozen is usually Ozen! Don't mean to pick on the Panthers but they always seem to find a way to shoot their own foot off! Good luck to 'em!
ozenfreshman Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Posted August 31, 2010 its something about ozen this year though..idk
bmtqj33 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 lumberton always jumpout in front but comes in dead ... last panters willbe in the play offsFYI they will win dist
