piratefan Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Wet fields Friday night.what are they calling for right around game time?
Guest kosmo Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Good. Those are the funnest games to watch. Football in the muck and mire is always quality entertainment.
bronco1 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Don't worry LC-M, Daytons field will be dry. All 3 million dollars of it.
CRUSHCOACH Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 I can't wait for the LCM vs Dayton game. Should be a great game and I haven't gotten to see Daytons field yet !
tam2121 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Love that Turf! Doesn't Silsbee have turf also?

CRUSHCOACH Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 No problem. I'm going to hopefully watch a good ball game.

GoDogs27 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Just wondering where Dayton's money comes from?? It seems like they have an awfully large budget for Football.... I dont see why they would have a whole lot more money than the MC schools??
bronco1 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 The renovations have been a long time coming. We have had a lot of people moving our way and we are in this new district so I just wrote a check to cover it. No really, high taxes is the answer.
GoDogs27 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 lol... that makes a little more sense now. I wish we could vote on a proposed budget for higher taxes, but for some reason it never comes up... An improved stadium with turf and a screen would be nice... I hear we have a screen coming for next year, like an actual screen with video replay.. thats a step forward i guess... I am excited about seeing Daytons new field, but I wish they would have a larger visitors side...

You will notice the Helmet in the middle of the field is facing the visitors side right now. Next year that will be home. Sorry. that doesn't help much this year. Visitors side does have better groceries though, usually.
L-TOWN baseball Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 lumberton has had to practice inside 2 of 3 practices this week ... but we should be ready ...
