I can understand why Coach Gage decided to go with the old school uniforms, but they look terrible(in my best Charles Barkley accent) in the year 2010.  I have always thought that BH has had some of the best looking uniforms over the past couple decades, but not this year.

And for the school board having to approve this purchase, they do not.  It is up to the person doing the ordering who happens to be the AD/Head Football.

For those of you that are lifelong residents of The Hill, you should know that those are throw back uniforms. They wore the stripes back in the days of glory, late 50's early 60's. Perhaps the uniforms represent a return to glory. I remember those style of uniforms.

They had 1-peice bathing suites back then that covered the legs and looked like pants!  Glory or no glory, I'll take the ALL AMERICAN THONG!

As long as we are running the ball 85%-90% of the time, won't be any glory.

Throwback! That's exactly what they should do with them.

Maybe we could get leather helmets too because those pure white chepos are ugly too. what is really bad is let's say things don't work out for the new coach and he is sent packing after a couple of years.......well the uniforms stay with the JV and then the freshmen and on down soooooo long after he is gone our kids will have the ugliest uniforms in Texas. Even worse is if he does get a third year he will buy the next bunch of ugly uniforms so it only gets worse. Man they are UGLY!!!!! hopefully the vendor did not charge much and just laughed it off provided no one tells who the vendor was.

Those are terrible..thats what happens when one person is in power, they can make stupid decisions without getting input from others.  I think on the helmets they should put pictures of the school board on each side to top it off.

They had some big kids.  Not a lot of kids, but big.  Reminds me of Hardin Jefferson back in the days.  They always had big fast kids.

If i remember correctly, in the 50's & 60's didn't they wear long sleeve with that heavy material that had no air holes?

I'm not from BH, but I think that in the old days BH had uniforms like or similar to these.
