tvc184 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 I have three more weeks before I can make a trip to south Texas.
Lefty99 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 I sure miss the Hill Country and S. Texas hunting. One of these days I'll get back down there.
Lefty99 Posted October 12, 2010 Author Report Posted October 12, 2010 Anybody get anything yet? If so post some pics. I am still working on my first kill of the yr. Hope to have some game cam pics this weekend. I was a little late in geting a camera and will have it out there this week.

I know that you really only want the horns so bring back the meat and I was eat it for you to keep you from being miserable.

bullets13 Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 i'm with tvc. i'll be happy to help him prepare it and eat it to help spare you the emotional pain.
westend1 Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Well. Looks like we are all going hungry for now. Full moon, windy, warm days and lots of acorns falling right now. Never even drew my bow, except for a turkey, which, by the way, is also unharmed.
rip2506 Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Customer came into my wash yesterday with a picture of a nice 8pt he shot the weekend of oct 16 &17th near Toledo Bend... He had a number of nice deer on his trail cameras.
tvc184 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 I took this 10 point cull out of the herd this morning. I arrowed him at about 20 yards.

643 Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Exxxxxcuse my ignorance BUT what makes this a cull, he's got good tine length, brow tines OK, could it be he's just OLD, BTW I wish we as hunters could come up with another word rather than cull...
