PURPLE 4EVER Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Eagle football fans are being taught a very good lesson.HumilityLook for the lesson to continue for at least three more weeks.

Jackthehammer Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Nederland wins prob by atleast 2 touchdowns.
jordibug15 Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Lets go NEDERLAND (:
dawgnut Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 As a team the Dogs are young, of the 40 half are Seniors and 10 Sophomores. With injuries to several of the Seniors we are getting younger each week on the field. The great thing is these young Dogs are starting to figure this Varsity stuff out. I don't know which week they will put it all together, but I wouldn't want to be on the other side when they do. Dogs Win!
Guest octfeb Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 yep its Nederland...they gonna beat them over there on the bump ;)
raideroldtimer Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 I see the Hole getting deepened a little more with another stompin'
Knoddy1 Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 I'm going with the dog's 34-13 I think Nederlands defense will set the tone for this one...might even score some.
LTrain Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Going with Big Ned, but you better keep your eyes on those two running back's they do have some wheels on them Ned 42 The mound 14
raideroldtimer Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 I predict that the Baytown Sun will talk about how much better BH played in this loss than a sloppy Nederland team who just got some lucky breaks. :o ::) :D
ForeverADog Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Nederland usually struggles against option teams like Vidor but I still the dogs are too much. Win by 10.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 The Hill will be 0-3 after this one...Long season over there ;D ;D ;D Just GOTTA LUV IT
GoDogs27 Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010
Nederland usually struggles against option teams like Vidor but I still the dogs are too much. Win by 10.
True statement, but this season, I have much more confidence in our ability to stop the running game as opposed to a team that attacks through the air. I worry about how our defense will do in situations like that. I guess the key is to that is time of possession. at any rate:Dogs 28 BH 14
FOOTBALLFEVER99 Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Would love to see BH win this one,"but" just don't see it happening yet..Have to eliminate or minimize the turnovers to have chance in their next 2 games..It will come, Gage is top notch coach.......Nederland 24BH 10
phunter308 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 I see Nederland playing a tough game in someone elses backyard. The Dogs are young on defense but very aggresive. The offense is getting better with a large line that has proved to be pretty good but the pass game is lagging but better then expected. I see BH has a good running game and alittle passing game like Ned. I think the defense of the Dogs will be the difference. I see Dogs win 28-10.
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Nederland=23Barbers Hill=21Still not sure what to think about our offense yet. Nederland's running backs have looked ok so far, but we don't have much of a passing game beside a 2 yard pass or WR screen here and there.
The Icon Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 They'll open up the passing game gradually w/ Raines. They're bot going to let a sophomore just sling it this early in the year.
Michele Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Offense is getting better, I agree the key will be what our defense does.... going with NEDERLAND on this one. 28-10
