Tyrone_Biggums Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Good for Cody. I hope he can earn the starting job this season. Did AJ get things straightened out and land on his feet somewhere? I would think he could catch on in a semi-pro league if not with a college.

Not sure if it was permanent.
Cougtalk Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 UH newspaper said they invalidated both their scholarships so i'm going to go with permanent. (as a coug fan i was upset to see him go hes a great talent) Sumlin doesn't play around when someone decides to do illicit and illegal things on his football team.

fwstangs Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Correct Dugat gone from Cougs for good . Do not attend classes, do not play college football.

Not saying the kid knocked off a liquor store, but the newspaper used the words "ILLEGAL ACTIVITY" and "EXPULSION" fyi i didn't insinuate anything, i said sumlin gets rid of kids that break the law. his first season he got rid of a kid for driving drunk (he was 19 so he broke multiple laws).

Guest tappedout Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 They have that stud freshman Taylor Martinez, it may be tough for Green to even see the field.

Cody may never see the field as a starter with TM there.

Cody got 2 posessions in the first half and both were touchdowns and was 5/6 passing. This was against western kentucky, but I suppose the same could be said about TM's huge rushing performance and 9/15 passing.
dayton Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I'll say this... Cody will compete.. but most of all he's gonna get a degree when it's all said and done which is #1 in my book.
Broncofan65 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Dont be sold on TM as the man in Nebraska. Western Kentucky has lost 20 games in a row and TM was not that great in the 2 minute drill. We will see how good he is when the big 12 competition starts. Many of the teams in the big 12 are not gonna let a one dimensional quarterback beat them. TM looks to run before he passes and there are quite a few seniors on that offense that are gonna want their touches on the ball. The quarterback last year owned the Sunbelt conference last year also and he struggled much of the year after that. Cody is in a great position to take over at any time. The media in Lincoln has showcased the Quarterbacks from California and it seems anything Cody does is not good enough. Cody was put in some very undesireable positions when he came in some games last year to try and clean up some of the mess that occured before his entry. Texas game at the 1 yard line. Time will tell how cody will do but I believe he will be the man sooner than later, stay tuned.
NorthoftheBorder Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 So Bronco fans, AJ Dugat is not going to school anywhere? Maybe he should check with Woodard. He may get a second chance in what will be a very up and coming program.
