I'm a PNG fan, but if you have the ball with two minutes in the game, you should be able to run the clock out. The short punt hurt PNG at the end of the game. PNG sputtered again, and secondary needs some work.

I have read about all 3 games that the passing D was horrible. A shake up in the secondary might be in the works the next two weeks. ???

The pre-district games are for smack talk, the rest of the games after this week is what counts. Hopefully the NDNS get ready for district because you have a couple teams that may suprise some folks (Lumberton, LCM, Livingston). This will be another wild and crazy season come district time.

Heck, last years game went into OT, so I figured a game like this. TC sounded solid on the ground, but I still think the NDN defense shows up sometimes and sometimes not.

I just do not get playing a soft zone and continuing to get beat deep.

I'm not second guessing anyone, but appeared to be poor game management at the end of the game. I wasn't at game, but hopefully when district starts they start running stunts and blitz packages to take some heat off of the secondary.

Maybe so. We have to fix it. Teams in district with the exception of Vidor, Livingston, and maybe Central are going to throw the ball a lot.

Well a little less than half.  ;D Point is we have to get better at stopping the pass. We have let two teams that were supposed to be running teams throw the ball on us. We need a fix.

Nope - all who do that are treated the same - no call for blaming refs as others have this year, like your fellow PNG fans said. I am so tired of hearing about refs losing the games and how it is ok for coaches to go off on them.  TC is our preseaon last place pick, pretty good team.

Faircloth knew this was going to be a back and forth game and knew that we would have to play a mistake free game to win it. That did not happen and we lost, no big deal. You can't win em' all. Now all the PNG hater's can get on here and talk all kind's of stuff now. We will still be district champ's at the end. Faircloth need's to get this offense clicking!

Jack is right! PN-G got beat. They did not play well and made too many mistakes. You take the game out of the officials hands by playing your best and executing. I wasn't there so I can't comment on officiating for this game, but you can't let a team stay close to you. PN-G definitely needs some work in the special teams area--you have to be able to punt the ball further than 10 yards at the end of the game. Don't get me wrong--I LOVE THE INDIANS--but they definitely did not have a very good game. I do have confidence that Coach Faircloth and his staff will make the corrections necessary to get the team back on track.I still have faith that they can win district.
