Thanks. 

He broke it in the forearm.  1 bent bone that didn't break & the other completely broke.  He is out for the season.  Will go to Bmt Bone & Joint on Monday & possibly have to have surgery.  It wasn't broke @ the growth plate; therefore, they didn't have to send him to Houston last night.  He is at home resting & trying to figure out how to play baseball with arm & just bat...lol

They both won.  I didn't catch the score from Lumberton White and LC.  Lumberton Red beat OF.  My son says the score was 46-6.  I didn't check after the game, just wanted to get out of the heat, lol.

He broke it in the forearm.  1 bent bone that didn't break & the other completely broke.  He is out for the season.  Will go to Bmt Bone & Joint on Monday & possibly have to have surgery.  It wasn't broke @ the growth plate; therefore, they didn't have to send him to Houston last night.  He is at home resting & trying to figure out how to play baseball with arm & just bat...lol

Glad to hear he is a fighter and plans to bounce back quickly. Its football and accidents happen but if it could have been predicted we would rather have seen a rainout. Hopefully the rest of the season will be injury free for all teams.

They thought so too. Their chain crew was talking trash about, watch this here comes a touchdown or here we go, one play and we gon sco! That didn't last very long, we probably gave up -80 or -90 yards. Not bad for a defense who was playing the fastest kids in the league or at least that's what they said!!! ::)

i got that feeling too cause its too much talent a team can handle,but i wonder how they are going to do against lumberton red

I seen both play already, and I say WOS will beat Lumberton Red by atleast 3 TD's. We play Lumberton Red the last game of the year, so I guess we'll see. Lumberton Red is good, but WOS is on another level. This is my thoughts early in the season, but as the season goes on we will see if anyone else steps up.

I think Lumberton Red, Nederland White, PNG White will be some good games. All 3 will have to play perfect and have some luck on thier side to beat WOS. IMO

After playing Lumberton Red and Nederland White, I don't think they can beat WOS.  They have some fast kids, but they're not WOS fast.  WOS juniors really play as a unified team, too.  Of course, anything can happen in sports.

Guys listen please. I help coach the junior team and we are in no way a superior force to be reckoned with. We have respect for each and every team that is associated with the stjfl and a ton of great coaches.  Today was very hard for my kids, they were shaken up a bit and sad at the loss of someone they looked up to and idolized. Please understand that we worrk just as hard as everyone else and any team can win on any given Saturday. So in closing let me say that yes we would like to win it all but for now its one game at a time. Good luck to everyone and God bless
