Wow, WO-S moves up 2 places after an open week.  If WO-S and Kirbyville get past their next two opponents, that will set up a Top 10 3A battle in West Orange.

A couple of weeks after a AP Top 10 battle (West Brook and Katy)?

Both games televised live?  Looks like Lance Edwards set up quite a schedule on the CW!

I can only speculate that as impressive as WO-S was in the loss to Friendswood, it was still a loss.

While that #2 looks nice next to Brenham, a #1 would look even better.  Aledo can barrow it till late December, then I think we'll take it!  Lol  

As for Tivy being ranked #5 and getting a first place vote above us...  I know they have beaten 2 good 5A teams, but we have beaten a pretty good 5A team with 8 D1 recruits on it, along with 2 other 4A teams that made the playoffs last year.  In doing that we've given up a safety, a field goal and a touch down.  12 points in 3 games, with the closest being 24-7 over Houston Lamar.

Not to mention we beat pretty much that same Tivy team last year...  ::)

Was hoping for a top-10 matchup between WO-S & Giddings. Doesn’t look that way at this point since the Buffaloes have lost in consecutive weeks now. Here’s hoping for at least a 10 vs. 8 when the ‘Stangs meet K’ville. Glad to see the local teams, 5A on down getting some love!  :)

Touché...  Hard, but not impossible.  I've seen it done to both of them by the same team in almost consecutive weeks.  (only 1 game between) It is a task though.
