**SILSBEE vs. NEWTON BROADCAST**/Newton wins 40-26

Tonight, the Silsbee Tigers travel up to Newton to take on the Eagles in a non-district battle. These two teams have squared off many teams in recent years producing some very exciting games. Last year, Newton squeeked out a victory with a 22-21 win in the last seconds of the game. The series is tied, 6-6.

Silsbee enters the game 2-1 on the season after suffering their first loss at the hands of Lumberton last week, 21-14. Newton got their first win last week, taking down Corrigan-Camden 41-6, to improve the record to 1-1.
