Went to the Katy/West Brook this past weekend and sat on the Katy side due to better seating, and noticed a lot of parents wearing #9 on their shirts and talking about courage. Every time this young man ran out on the field the stands gave him a standing ovation...does anyone know his story? Seems like a great one.

#9 is Nick Narcisse.  He was diagnosed with a rare throat cancer 7 months ago.  He has been going through chemo and radiation treatments which has dropped him from 215lbs to 180.  On August 10 he was diagnosed as cancer free.  The West Brook game was his first game to play this year.

Another note about #9. Started as a Soph all year in 2008. Has been a beast from the start, but was unstoppable in playoffs 2009, including several LEAPS OVER the OL trying to block him. Great young man too.
