me, always hated them all, [b]and[/b] USL...but mcneese...they were close enough to partially like, plus good fans, sfa and swtsu...not enough fans to hate..but Sam and the black rose? ...that was getting good when they killed the program.

Yep, Sam.  McNeese was a good/clean rivalry but the Sam black rose and subsequent fight after our 2pt loss over there in '88 followed by our "Rose Bowl II" 41-0 beatdown we gave them over here in '89 - it was getting fun.  I think the Greater Houston recruiting wars helped fuel some of that.
