Actually, they've won the district more recently than Ozen has...btw, iirc, Ozen was last in the district last season.

If Ozen doesn't develope a sound running game and cut out the bad snaps, they'll end up 3-4 or worse just like last year.  They'll be in all their games but wear out the defense because the offense turns it over or has a bunch of 3 and outs.......

Lumberton ran the spread from 2000-2007....Tony Eckert won the Smith award in that system, went on to play at SMU. Our understanding of it is just fine, we have just simply moved on. Set a state record for pass attempts in a game in 02 against Jasper and Keith Talbert at the time had the state record for receptions at 22. Do some hw before you insult intelligence of a whole city...moron.

Actually I think Ozen has a chance to make the playoffs this year, they are fast. That being said it'll more than likely still be behind Lumberton. On the other hand I think Central is going to fall short unless things turn around big time. Another post talks about which game will be the most interesting this week and frankly although I'm thinking L-Town and LCM is the game to see this week, I am equally as interested in hearing about the PNG-Livingston match up, that being said, one of you PNG fellas keep us updated on twitter please. Lastly the Ozen-Central match up will actually tell us who really is the one to watch out for from Beaumont.

You base your offense on what personel you have ...... and a good coach will do this.  What's the use of throwing a 100 times if you can't protect your QB or catch the ball ....... I would say Ozen wins if this were a track meet but it isn't and the L-TRAIN will roll you this year!
