I agree. Are things really that boring in Mid County? I'm sure there were far more important things going on (bingo at a local retirement home, a car wash fund-raiser, Mr. Johnson's prize winning pumpkin.) Something should have taken up the space where this story was born. I wouldn't have wasted my time on it. Just my two cents.
