TexasTerror Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Just an FYI... good thing they are not playing a fellow purple team like NWST, Tarleton State. Of course, SFA's secondary color is red - but if everyone is wearing purple for them, it won't be bad!
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Lumberjack football fans will be treated to something new when Stephen F. Austin hosts Lamar at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Homer Bryce Stadium.SFA students are gearing up and setting the date to cast a sea of purple on both sides of the gridiron when the visiting Cardinals come to town.Normally a tradition in basketball, the annual `Purple Out' promotion has taken center stage in football on Parents' Day this year. AggiesAreWe Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 I am quite sure that the folks at SFA are smart enough to not have a "purple out" in a game with someone who has the color purple as their team colors. ;)
Guest ECBucFan Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 SFA folks are a smart bunch! ;D
bigred360 Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 I hope there is a large section of red but there are couple of things which may cut down the numbers traveling with the Cards this weekend.1. The funeral of Reggie Garrett in Orange on Saturday.2. The game is going to be on Fox 4.3. The HS game on TV on the CW.
