[/quote]Yeah...we remember that great group of kids...at the jamboree they shouted every name in the book at our players...."N" word, "N" lovers, etc(our team was ethnically mixed)... yes,they were a great group of kids and coaches ::)....that's why I said I'm glad Silsbee whip dat tail!....I'm sure it wasn't all the kids, but having our kids come to the sideline, telling me what was being said, was enough for me to see what the entire Deweville Senior organization that year was about....I told my kids we'd take care of business on the field...and did we ever... ;D...

Right.  ::) I was on the sidelines that day and I also heard what was said so don't spread a one sided attack on one city, their kids and community without telling the WHOLE story.  I didn't condone that behavior from either kids and associations at the time and I said so.

Hawks played Deveyville last night, and I must add it was about the best game we have had so far as far as sportsmanship goes on BOTH sides. Great group of young athletes there. Look forward to seeing them again in the playoffs.

Hawks won 26 to 6, and yes it was a very good display of sportsmanship before, during and after game.

Thats the way it was in 2007 and 2008 when we played Deweyville. In 07 they beat the dog out of us and were very good sportsmen about the whole deal. Then in 08 when we beat them TWICE, they were very good sports. Sept Claude, for some reason he doesnt like the opposite team kneeling at the end to not run the score up. Hehehehehehehehehe.
