Like I told you all earlier this week, don't be suprised by the Coogs. There is no quit in these boys, more heart than you can even imagine. 112%. Great effort Buna Cougars!! Great game by both teams. Word from local Buna nurse who checked on Coach Barbay before he left, high blood sugar and accelerated heart rate. He can chunk the ball a mile. It will be fun to watch and see how this district will play out. Congrat Newton on the hard fought win.

SFA65 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Good game cougars. I loved the effort. The scoreboard did not reflect just how close this game really was. However, the Cougar fans need to realize that the intensity of the crowd plays a big factor in a football game. When the fans get involved it boosts the confidence of the players on the field. Its pretty bad when the players on the sidelines have to beg the crowd to cheer for their team. And even then less than half our fans got fired up. Any Successful football team has a crowd that gets involved, especially in a game as big as the one we played last night. Its called TEAM SPIRIT!!!!!!We need fans to be LOUD and PROUD. Its a football game!!! Not a chess tournament
