Friday Volleyball: BC defeated OF in four sets to avoid a one game playoff with the Bobcats for a playoff spot. The LCM Lady Bears defeated the Vidor Lady Pirates in 5 sets in the final district game of the season. The Lady Bears improve to 20-12 overall and 10-4 in district. They will play Crosby in the first round of the playoffs Thursday, October 26 at 7 p.m. The game will be played at Ozen High School. Julie Mason led with 12 kills, 4 blocks; Christine Sicktich 6 kills, 1 block, 3 aces; Carly Gauthier 2 kills; Tiara Lexie 8 kills, 2 blocks, 1 ace; Morgan Blohm 6 kills, 6 blocks, 3 aces.
