Coach Barbay was a very sweet man. he went to church with me since i was a little girl. I pray that his family will be ok and that his team fights hard for him, Pleas south east texas lets take this family in our hearts the same way we took Reggie in..I can not believe that this has happened. God has recived one GREAT COACH today.....Southeast texas we know have to play 112% for two great athletes this year. This world will not be the same.

I hate to say this on here but i said last week God must be creating a football team up there.

Prayers from West Texas. One of my higher ups played for him. I hope im not the first one to break the news to him.

I send my prayers from Buna, I saw him as they were bringing him to the ambulance and he looked tired but never expected this.  R.I.P Mr. Barbay you were the best coach I ever had the privalege to play against.

I graduated from Newton in 1978, Coach Barbay was one of the nicest guys you would have ever met.  He was an ICON among coaches!  God Bless the Barbays from this transplanted purple & white Indian! RIP
