RexFry Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Lets hear your predictions on two teams that have both struggled this season. It looks like the winner could come away with the third playoff spot from this district.
TeamJagUS Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 i'll give ya cleveland and 9 in this one
2MADRE Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 I think who ever runs the offense the best will end up winning the game. The option is something, that if ran right, will make defenses look stupid. Should be a very good game.
kvillecats9876 Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 splendora has one win. against huntington and was dismantled 65-0 against 2a van vleck (3-3)cleveland has managed only one win as well be it a twopoint victory over shepherd. both offenses through FIVE games are barely over 900 ydsin offensive production. but against eachother, maybe a high scoring game :o
belle-mere Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 I can't see Splendora hanging with Cleveland's athletes, but you never know. I still pick Cleveland.
kvillecats9876 Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 three and four years ago i would of picked splendoraover them easy. now, this season, cleveland and splendora and playing equally as bad as the other.
2MADRE Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 both offenses through FIVE games are barely over 900 ydsin offensive production.
Splendora average yardage per game is over 300 yards. My math may be off but 300 x 4 is 1200. Should be a good game. Go Cats!!
Guest jhamilton Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I cannot see Cleveland loosing to a team that was beaten by Hampshire Fannett. Cleveland by thirteen.
biggen Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 splendora did not play van vleck....van vleck cancelled on them in june..........van vleck beat galveston o'connell 65-0
ncplaya Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Splendora by 7. Game will be over in 30 min with 4 passes lol.
2MADRE Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010
splendora has one win. against huntington and was dismantled 65-0 against 2a van vleck (3-3)cleveland has managed only one win as well be it a twopoint victory over shepherd. both offenses through FIVE games are barely over 900 ydsin offensive production. but against eachother, maybe a high scoring game :o
The only factual statement you have correct is the one about Cleveland winning by 2. The others it seems you have been confused or mislead.
kvillecats9876 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I looked into all that on chron.com Sorry if they were wrong. But if the only thing that was Right is Cleveland winning by 2 then do they both have more than One win? And I'd bet that Hampshire-fannett is better than shepherd. Jmo. But yeah on chron.com that's the score it shows and record for both teams. And showed like 928 and 914 total yds of offense for each team respectively.
2MADRE Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Like I said misinformed or misled on your info besides the 1 win one a piece and that Cleveland beat Shepherd by 2. Great post though. Kuddos on the research techniques. :D
1KatKiller Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I agree with you Playa, game will be quick with those two offenses, but I think Cleveland may put another win up...Splendora losing to St.Thomas really blows me away....I understand St.Thomas scoring, Coach Hollas has the O rolling, but NOT to be able to score on St.Thomas' defense???? not a good sign of things to come.
Lukethadrifter Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Biggen, dont get to fired up because someone has less than stellar research techniques. We all know these HS football sites are just a notch above "daddyball" stats. And that accuracy is not always of the utmost importance. Playa, 4 passes? wow, you are really expecting an "air show" arent you? lolMy golf ball stays in the air longer than these two teams put the football in the air, and believe me, thats about a nanosecond. That being said, I like the Cats and their O-line this week. The same o-line that pushed a very good Cleveland defense around a little last year. (Over 300 yards on the ground if I recall). Gotta play some d though. Cats in a close one. 26-20Luke has Spoken.
TSU Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Should be a good game boys. Both teams running the flexbone...should be a quick one as well. 1KatKiller....Splendora scored 20 something on St Thomas.
kvillecats9876 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 chron.com is usually not wrong. maybe its just the people reporting the stats? idk. i know that you could go into any team in our district when i was in hs and getaccurate stats. it wouldnt surprise me if those numbers were correct though.. extremely weak district.
TSU Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 I bet I know who biggen is now! Thanks Playa!
