GO MATT!!

I can't remember much about Matt Bryant when he played for BC.What years did he play? Did any of you think he would make the big time back then?

He played on the '93 BC team and before. He graduated in 1994 I believe. I thought he would be in the big time. He played on my son's pee wee football team when he was 7 or 8, I believe,and he attempted xtra points when they scored. He made one the year I remember. He was a good kid and I am proud of him as an NFL player.

I graduated with Matt in '94 and he kicked 50+ yarders in high school... Just didn't know how far he would go...  Great job Matt and keep up the good work.

Hey guys, did he kick straight on in high school? For some reason I was thinking he did, but I remember him at Baylor kicking soccer style.

Nope.  Matt has always been a sidewinder.  Heck of a linebacker too.  You could always see him with a sack of footballs over his shoulder anytime of year, heading for the football field.  So far he has kicked for the New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Bucs, and now the Atlanta Falcons. Some of those stints were short as he filled in for an injured kicker.  He literally came within minutes of signing with the Dallas Cowboys when Tampa Bay threw a ton of money at him at the midnight deadline.
