Guest rykerx144 Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010
;Avg approx 180 yds a game +- a few.
who is averaging 180 yards a game? If its him please tell me where your getting your information from?
Bucof2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I'm pretty sure he's not better than Glenn Davis
#60 dad Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 just checked stats....didnt even see his name in top 50 in rushing in area??? Trey Craft from Deweyville is sitting at #3 though....
APanthers Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Jarrod Howard will see the best back in our District this Friday.
H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Jarred Howard is a beast. He is the only option on his team and still no teams can stop him. Howard is good for 150 yards and 2 td's every game. He does not have a supporting cast like other good backs in this discussion. He ran all over my Bobcats and we still won. Hands down he is the best back in this area. Howard would start for most schools in SE Texas, yes even the mighty anahauc panthers.
APanthers Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 We will see Friday and dont think he will be better than Justin. I wish we could play Hull d.

bruno994 Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Albritton-AP, Bennett and Jackson-NEW, Craft and Williams-BUNA, Roberts-EC, Howard-KOU. All pretty good backs in 10-2A. You can't trust the stats posted, or at least gauge everyone off them because not every coach or school turns them in.
Fishingislife Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 He would be a pulling guard in Newton. They have four backs better!
aTmfan06 Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010
Same at Anahuac.
I doubt Anahuac has 4 better backs
Guest HardinHornets Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Howard was pretty good, but he didn't do extremely well against Hardin and our Run-Defense is not even all that great. I would put him in the Top 3, and if he was on a different team, I might reconsider. He is a good back though, give credit where it's due. Anahuac, Buna, EC, and Newton all have great backs that can play at the next level.
Mustang-Fan Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Newton has the best backs in setx2a hands down.
HullaBalloo! Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 i was at the hardin game...they WORKED to stop Howard...and he still had about 130 yds rushing...My friend told me he now has 650 yds rushing in 4 games....
knows2much Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I'm with you guys. I think the Howard kid is a tough guy to stop. But he's no true running back. He doesn't have the speed. Maybe like a full back. And yeah I hate to say, but at some schools around here he may be a lineman or a defense only linebacker type player. He is definately a good player. Not even close to best running back in the area though.
Blue2318 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Trey Craft from Deweyville is ranked 3rd with 668 yards and Justin Albritlon from Anahuac is ranked 5th with 607 yards.
APanthers Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Allbritton is on the side line around the 3rd Q because the 2nd stream is in almost every game.
Kvillecats Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010
Allbritton is on the side line around the 3rd Q because the 2nd stream is in almost every game.
He would be in the WHOLE game if they played Kville! ;D I wished we played yall again.
HullaBalloo! Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Howard now has 920 yds rushing in 5 games. He posted 220 yds against Anahuac...as for speed...he outran the Albritton kid on 80 yd scoring run. Not as good a back As Albritton, but he does have back speed.
ECC95 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Glen Roberts from EC has to be mentioned in this conversation. I mean the kid is about 5'7 and weighs bout 150 lbs soaking wet and has bout 600 yds rushing averaging about 7 or 8 yds a carry.
