firecat1 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Why is it I never read or see any coverage of Beaumont Schools? There is never a live broadcast of West Brook, Ozen or Centra.

Also we will be broadcasting Vidor, Silsbee and Hardin-Jefferson basketball along with Vidor and Silsbee baseball.Sponsors have paid for these broadcasts.Like it was mentioned, KOLE 1340 AM has the contract with BISD to broadcast all the BISD games at BISD Stadium. They also do PAM games at Memorial Stadium.KLVI does the Nederland games, 92.5 FM does the PNG games, KOGT does Orange County games, KJAS does Jasper games.When our teams that we have contracts with play BISD schools, then they get broadcast here.I am not sure what you really mean by "covering", but this is who we broadcast.
raideroldtimer Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 In a nutshell, if you're school has a radio or tv stations already contracted to cover it, then SETXsports takes care of some of the rest of us. Only dual coverage is when SETXsports covered team is playing a team covered by the other media. So far Central has been on live tv, not sure if the other two have although WB-Ozen was on like the first full game replay.
