They will show flashes of athleticism and speed, but it's not consistent.
I attribute this to Ozen being a young team.  They haven't jelled at all.
However, I will give them one thing, they will keep battling and fighting until the clock shows 0:00.

I have been to several Ozen home games this year, and the fan base and turnout has been disappointing.
I expected to see more fans show up at the home games.  The school and team spirit seems to be down.
However, despite the lack of, or low fan support, the players keep battling.  Winning will take care of the fence riding fans.

I was at the lcm vs ozen game and the ozen side was lacking in fans but also in spirit.
I sat on the bottom of the lcm side but i didnt get to see how packed it really was up top but i could definatly hear it.
Ozen always has athelets to compete but they just couldnt get it together.
They are also undisciplend. Getting a delay of game on the first kick off of the game. ouch

I agree---very good post.  Ozen fans--get behind your team.  You pay they'll play.  Its the right thing to do. 
I also think Lumberton has lots of good fans---but some of these post are not necessarily representative.

[/quote]As far as fan support goes, that's one area where I actually feel bad for Ozen. Their fan base for the last couple of years at least has been very low, especially compared to the rest of the districts and I would guess that makes it that much harder for their kids to perform.

Hey soulja, I know Ive used undisipline when refering to Ozen.  Not refering to race like has been said on other threads. I picked them to be in the top 4 this year and maybe they still will.  I know you want an explaination so I'll give you mine.  When I refer to undisipline I am refering to stupid mental mistakes AKA penalties that are drive killers.  (false starts, holding, personal fouls)   A perfect example of an undisipline team was my Pirates last Friday against Lumberton.  Touchdowns called back. (Holding)  Dont even get me started on the false start penalties.  We had a ton.  The field out in Raiderland might as well have been a yellow carpet with all the penalties we committed.  We are young, but have talent, but not enough to overcome stupid mistake after mistake after mistake.  Ozen,  at least when we have played them, have been the same way.  They are scary talented but do alot of the shooting themselves in the foot.
