The Pirates looked against the Raiders, [b]at times[/b].  They'll need to cut down on the penalties but I believe they'll turn it around this week for the Homecoming crowd.

I dont think PNG is an easier opponent.  I will admit I am shocked  :o that PNG hasnt won in district yet, but make no mistake I think they are better than their record.

I agree, they did not look very fired up against Lumberton and had some very questionable play calling.

It's quite simple for the Ozen Panthers this week win or be prepared to collect equipment after Nov 5th. They have too much team speed on Offense to be averaging 14.0 ppg in district. You can't win football games like that, especially when your Defense is giving up 32.0 point ppg in district. Ozen reflects a very confused team so far in District 20-4A. Adjustments need to be made ASAP, if they expect to enter post season play. !

Sasquash22, I was trying to think of a word or analysis for Ozen thus far, and you summed it up for me.
I agree, Ozen  looks like a team that is confused.  They are young, erratic, and inconsistent.
They have flashes of athleticism, but that's about it.  Nothing consistent.

I think that Vidor will win this one at home

I hope the Pirates are ready to play, Ozen is fast and will cause problems for the defense.  They cannot afford to  make the same mistakes against the Panthers as they did against Lumberton.
