Ty Cobb Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 I'm pulling for the reds but the phillies have the better pitching staff.
bullets13 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 nobody is giving the reds a chance, and looking at their lineup, i can understand that, but... this is the playoffs, and anything can happen. i'll go out on a limb and say that the reds upset everyone's world series favorites in 7.
adminbaberuth Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 4-0 still batting, cincy pitcher chased
PhatMack19 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 4-0 Phils lead in the 2ndVolquez out after 1.2 innings. This may be a short series.

adminbaberuth Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 ESPN MLB - Phils P Roy Halladay has not allowed a hit through 6 innings of NLDS opener vs. Reds, 1 BB, 5 K
bullets13 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 unbelievable... that was a tough play for the last out, too. a 6-foot dribbler that the catcher had to go to two knees and get the ball away from the discarded bat before throwing down the line to beat a fast runner by a step. that's a hell of a postseason debut!

ForeverADog Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Great job by Halladay! Beautifully pitched game. And I thought for some reason they switched every series to 7 games now? Maybe that's the NBA?
