Saw Woodville at EC. Woodville has talent and I don't think that's the problem, it's numbers. Hot and humid, Woodville has 22 players and EC has 37. Looked like most of the Woodville's better players were going both ways every series and EC only few, none full time. It was a one point game at the half, all EC the second half. By the middle of the 4th quarter the Woodville players could barely get back on their feet after each play. I felt their pain.

Close early then Newton wins by 20.

I think Newton will win it even though I am pulling for Woodville.  If Newton loses, It will free up that third playoff spot

I think there are only 2 playoff spots in the new D1 and D2 districts.  I could be wrong.  If there are only two spots, then the race is even more interesting.

Woodville does always play Newton tough. The game is in Woodville, another plus for Woodville. Newton is in disarray on both sides of the ball with the defense seeming to play more poorly each game. Woodville has a better chance to win than they have had in years. A tossup in my opinion.
