kville Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Game after game you hear about some great 'Cat play makers and even the linemen get credit. I find it strange that our QB does not get much recognition. When Hazzelwood(s) graduated more than a few people thought the Wildcats would be it trouble in the QB position. Jones has done a fantastic job and although he has had the talent on the field with him to make it look easy, his efforts and execution have allowed others to shine. I say step out from some big shadows for a sec Mr. Jones you deserve to be in the spotlight and be recognized! Thank you for all of your hard work and efforts. Great job and good luck in district play and beyond!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 this poster is right on. +1 for ya
SFA85 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 I'll give him credit for not missing handoffs to Ford and that big fullback lol.....He did make some nice throws....
jesusfreak Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I will say I was very impressed with Jones... I attended to the game knowing nothing about the Kirbyville team or any of their players.... I left the game telling several people how good ya'lls qb was... everyone I spoke to thought he was the real deal.good luck,jf

SteelerCzy Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 IMO he will be the difference maker once Kville gets into the playoffs against some better teams that are gonna stack the line and force Kville to throw, he will win some games for them with his arm, very impressed with the QB.
Gasilla Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 He extended most of Kvilles drives by making big 3rd down throws. I was impressed.
Lefty99 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 He and the passing game have gotten better each week and that is very dangerous thing for opposing teams in the coming weeks. At the rate they are going they will be hard to beat that's for sure.
td Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I agree. I think what he was able to do throwing the ball made a big difference. Ford and the other backs were as advertised. Yall came into the game and all I heard was how yall couldn't throw the ball. Great job proving those people wrong.
DP#1FAN Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 He made the plays for K-ville when they needed them. I thought he was the difference in the game.

HubTx Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Week to week on the broadcast you will Adam and I talking about the improvements he has made in the passing game... Jones may not put up huge numbers on a consistent basis, but if he has to make a play, we have full faith that he can get it done... Credit the success of the Wildcats running attack in 2010 to the credibility the passing game has established... True, Ford frees up the receivers in the secondary, but if Jones didn't make plays, teams would crowd the box even more...
