cowboysfan Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I was at the Woodville/Warren game in Woodville Thursday night, and was really surprised that there was not even a mention of Coach Curtis Barbay's passing. No moment of silence, nothing. I do not understand this at all. Regardles of who they were playing, this legendary coach at least deserved a moment of silence. The fact that Woodville was playing against his nephew seems disrespectful at the least. Coach Curtis Barbay's brother was also at the game as well as his son Darrell. The only thing that I can think is that maybe the Barbay family asked them not to since they had been through the funeral the day before. That's the only way this makes any sense to me at all.
WOSgrad Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Well, I can assure you that if it was an oversight, it was an accidental one. Coach Fentress felt the loss as much as anyone and probably just had a crazy week.
