Boogy1000 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Who do you think is the best QB in SETX this year?
Kville_Kats Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 This Post could get real interesting... ;D
True Blue Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 You are prob. going to get a ton of names, but I think that the best passer is the Taylor kid from Hardin, the best rusher is Nichols from Evadale, and the MVP of his team is the Jones boy from EC All three of these players are the leaders of their teams and without them they dont win. So it is hard to say who is the best at just being a QB, but these are the best at leading their teams.
falcolnfanatic Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Cole deberry from Huffman has to be thrown in the conversation. He has over 1600 yards passing and 21 tds with only 3 int and atleast 5 more td rushing.
WOSgrad Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Myles Taylor from Hardin gets my vote. When I get the updates posted, you'll see that he has 1692 yd passing (22 TD) and 455 yd rushing (7 TD)
chaingang123 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Gonzo may not be the best but he is a great one... also throw in that jones boy from kirbyville
Hardinj52 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Cole DeBerry was all state last year and is putting up all state numbers this year so the best pocket QB is DeBerry.
Coach Schrapps Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Dakota Edddins from Kelly. He is a pure passer and leading the area in passing going into last week.
paintballove Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Myles Taylor of Hardin, Then ColeDeberry of Huffman.
T_totha_K Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Terrance Singleton The Port Arthur Memorial University...lol
Ty Cobb Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 The kid from Huffman is the best throwing QB that I have seen this year.
Steve Largent Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 The DeBerry kid from Huffman does a great job managing that offense. He makes great decisions and is putting up some big time numbers.
surfer73 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Hard to make that call now, Have not seen the other QB's in 4a, But as of now I have to go with Doty.
East TX Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Matt Menard-BC-he does it all very well!
9Doggies Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Doty-P.N.G. He could play at the next level, very sharp, great technique, needs some big time playmakers to help him out.
Guest baseball25 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I mean Stats don't lie and the Taylor Kid from Hardin putting up HUGGE numbers. He has 5 games left so who knows how many TDS he will throw for but your looking at a kid that could put up a total of 40 plus TDS......I don't care what level it is thats very impressive.1692 yd passing (22 TD) and 455 yd rushing (7 TD)

Gtj007 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Doty from PNG. He looks like he has what it takes to play at the next level and throws the deep ball really well. At least he did against Nederland.
Boogy1000 Posted October 5, 2010 Author Report Posted October 5, 2010 I vote Deberry and Reyes! That kid from Hardin is tuff as well.
