I dont think the Tiger players will under estimate anyone else.......they cant.

bobbymcgee Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Huckabay has done a very good coaching job at Orangefield in my opinion

STiger85 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 OK did I see this right. Silsbee runs 36 plays for 415 yards, thats 11.5 yards per play :o. Orangefield runs 68 plays for 460 yards, thats 6.7 yards per play. The problem is Silsbee just scores to fast in this game for there defense to get rested up. Now, is that a good problem or a bad problem. Eather way thats some serious yards per play from both teams especially from Silsbee. ;D

Bobcats proved tonight that they cannot be taken lightly. Silsbee proved that If they make the playoffs, they will be one and done. ;D ;D
Ok let me get this right. From what I have read on here Silsbee played like crap and Orangefield played great and Silsbee still won. OK
There is a lot of football left to play before playoffs. Silsbee has some issues to correct. I dont thinks they are big issues to correct . Like wrap up on tackles. and dont carry the ball in one hand in a crowd trying to get that one more yard after just gaining 40. these are easy to correct. Silsbee has the ability to make big plays in a hurry . They should make the playoffs. And I will be happy to watch one, two or how ever many they make ... I also would rather watch one than none. Good job Silsbee.
ST413 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 The Tigers defense was definately on the field too much and wrapping up is an issue both on D and special teams. However our problems stopping the run go deeper than just that. Size on the line is an issue. Last night an issue was seemed to be figuring out just who had the ball. Misdirection hurt the Tigers big time.
CATS80 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 I hope everything is ok with AAW and family has anyone herd any news
Boogy1000 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 No D for Silsbee buddy! BC may win by 20
sxedoc Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 i wanna say i was disgusted by both sides of the stands. The sportsmanship was horrible. Booing? come on!
Wildcatter Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Then that should tell you just how bad the officiating was. No crying on either side just some HOOOOORIBLE officials. Just pay your money and anyone can be an official.
ST413 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 The officials were horrible for both sides on some calls that were or could have been very costly.
Beerice Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 The officiating was also horrible in the 8th grade game of Silsbee v OF... Officials have definately left alot to be desired this season.. and it's still early...

Hold on to the freakin ball! How hard is it???
well if you had the courage to play in HS you'd know how hard it can be to hold onto the ball.dont criticize kids when they are obviously trying their hardest out there.
FootballFan96 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010
I think Silsbee has had a football program since 1929 and they have NEVER beem to state! Lol Never? Sure is a long time. That word "Never" means no maroon and white Silsbee Tiger has ever had the chance to even compete for a football state title. Al we could ever do is a buy a ticket and watch some other school play. Shame shame shame!
lol what are you talking about?every team, every year, has a chance to compete for a state title. doesn't matter if you go 0-10 or 10-0... you are still competing for the top prize... a State title.
