Just can't seem to stop anyone from scoring themselves.

He played a WHALE of a defensive game. Seemed to be the only defensive player on the field, either side. Had several sacks and big hits.

Think about it; had EC muffed even one on sides kick from Hardin, Hardin would have scored two consecutive TD's, and EC could not have got a defensive stop to recover from a two score lead. As long as Hardin was within one score, EC could punch it in and win, just like they did.
