slim shady
Looks like it could come down to the wire, Liberty and Shepherd play this week, a loss would all but eliminate the Pirates, Cleveland is still in the mix, but need some help after losing to splendora.....Splendora is 1-1 and playing huffman this week, which will put them 1-2, with Liberty, Tarkington and Shepherd their last three.....dont count Tarkington out, they have lost to Coldspring, huffman , and Liberty, and need some help

falcolnfanatic
I'm gonna have to say cleveland. With all the talent they have I can't see them not makin the playoffs.
RexFry
I think that if Splendora can stay healthy through the Huffman game they will have the best chance at the 3rd place spot. If they can finish tied with Cleveland they would advance because of head to head win over Cleveland. They just can not have a letdown the last 3 weeks of the season. RexFry
The big question is who is going to win the district. I do not see Huffman stopping the Coldspring running game. GREAT SPEED.....

East TX
Coldspring vs Huffman should be a great game to watch--to different type offensive strategies!Since 21-3A and 22-3A will butt heads in bi-District playoffs: I am sure folks from both Districts are looking at the potential match-ups to take place in the not-so-distant-future. Coldspring's secondary looked bad at times against Splendora. Lucky for them that our passing offense isn't very effective.
idk
I wouldn't cout Shepherd out, they had to hardest schedule to stat district off, As i see it, IF they win out then they will be in the thick of things, Splendora is in the drivers seat but they can't slip up any, Shepherd played both Coldsprings and Huffman already and Liberty has only played Huffman and Splendora has only played Coldspring, Cleveland still has both of those teams to go, so that would put them with 3 losses at a min. If Shepherd wins out they would have 3 losses as well Liberty has to win out also but I can't see them getting by Cleveland and the game with Shepherd will be close, and if Splendora wins out then they will only have two. So it is up in the air right now, but this week will go a long way in seeing who will get that 3rd spot. If Shepherd looses then they are done for the year as well as Liberty, So let's see who steps up and gets it done, Cleveland, Liberty, Splendora or Shepherd. idk
I did mean the begining of District play. Shepherds pre-season was not really that hard, but with a very young team they struggled (and still are with certain things) But there district schedule to start off with was hard. They are getting better with every snap and will put up a good fight for the rest of district. With Shepherd it depends on which team shows up, The young team or the team that has learned from the past games. Shepherd may not sneak into the playoffs this year but I will say they will get a spot next year for sure. But if they win tonight it will make things interesting.
