bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 great start for CJ wilson, 3 up 3 down in the top of the 1st.
Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Walk to leadoffget 'em on, get 'em round, get 'em in!!
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 what a start! vlad almost hit one right after that, too. hit it to the wall, granderson caught it reaching up and leaning against the wall.
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 a single by cruz. the only out so far for CC is a 402 foot flyout by vlad. a very good sign for the rangers that the 3 rangers they needed to pick it up have done so. after being essentially non-factors in the 1st series, young singles sharply, Hambone hits a 3-run bomb, and vlady misses a HR by about 5 feet.
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 CC just got bailed out. what an unlucky bounce for the rangers. i'd like to see another angle to that replay to see if that was the right call or not.

Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 There's your angle. Ump got it right

bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 what a play! nellie wasn't going to get that one!
Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 yeah and I heard some talking heads say NY middle relief wouldn't be a factor. They could be a big factor in this game. Rangers can explode opening game. What a nice catch by Andrus.6 up 6 down
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 3 up 3 down for the rangers in the 2nd, but they did make CC work in the 1st two at bats, and his pitch count has ballooned to 50.
Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 hit and walk for yanks. 1 out, 2 on
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 great job by Wilson to get out of the jam! 3-0 rangers, going to the bottom of the 3rd.
Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 yeah, nice to get Jeter and Swisher in the 1 and 2 hole. that was pretty big
Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 respect to Hamilton. Sabathia won't make it through 5
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 rangers fail to capitalize on a runner on 3rd with 1 out. again a bit unlucky as a nellie smashed a ball with one out but RIGHT at AROD.
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 CC at 67 pitches after only 3 innings.
Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010
CC at 67 pitches after only 3 innings.
I agree with the TV dude, should be 5 or 6 to nothing. They need to knock CC out and the emotional lift will be huge
Guest (13) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010
Yanks need a BIG SWING.
big swing and a miss
bullets13 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 rangers living on the edge a bit. CJ gets out of a 2-on, 2-out jam, but Posada hit the ball well, just right at Cruz. the rangers need to start taking advantage of their chances as well. this game should be 5-6 to 0 right now. you can't let the yanks hang around.
