WOSgrad Posted October 16, 2010 Author Report Posted October 16, 2010 Groveton returns a fumble for a TD and leads 29-14
pirate supporter Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 pirates need to hang on to the ball. turn overs gonna kill us again!!!
SteelerCzy Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 4 fumbles and 1 int in first half are killing the pirates. 2 times in redzone with zero pts to show for it. Pirates need to come out in 2nd half and hold the ball!
pirate supporter Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 same story another week. Someone please come up with a way to stop the turnovers.
SteelerCzy Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Its a problem and needs to be corrected. This team plays hard but the turnovers are being turned into pts by a very good groveton team.
WOSgrad Posted October 16, 2010 Author Report Posted October 16, 2010 IN the 4th, Groveton leads 43-14
pirate supporter Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 gonna be a long bus ride home tonight for the boys.
WOSgrad Posted October 16, 2010 Author Report Posted October 16, 2010 Final Groveton 50, Deweyville 14
SteelerCzy Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Congrats to the Indians, awesome team and very nice facilities we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Good luck in the rest of the District race. The Pirates continue to shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers and undisciplined penalties, 8-fumbles (lost) and 1-Int to go along with 3 or 4 personal fouls. This "Team" is talented enough to compete in this District when they play as a "Team". I will leave it at that.
