aaronblock03 Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Not many folks give the bobcats a chance, but heres hoping...
WOSgrad Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 Never assume when the issue involves 15-18 year olds
FootballFan96 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010
21-14 WOS 4th
were in the game and gave it away....am i wrong?(i didn't go to the game, im just looking at numbers)
WOS92 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Orangefield was only "in the game" for a brief time. WO-S pretty much dominated.
FootballFan96 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 to be in the game for any period of time means that the ability is there...perhaps the consistency isn't, but everything else is.seems like OF "gave up" or "gave it away" late in the game...seems like it was closer than the score shows.

Final score was 41-14.

You guys are a class act.
lhsof23 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 i have a question why did WOS throw bombs down the field and try to run up the score when they could of just easily ran the clock out.

I think it was to get a young qb ready for the rest of the season. Learning curve.

The WO-S "O" didn't have the ball as much in the second half, thus giving J-Salt a chance to get some valuable in-game experience in the 4th. No disrespect to O-Field (which played an outstanding 3rd quarter) but the 'Stangs simply needed to get some more work-in.
WOS92 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 We lost a superstar and the hub of our offense. We're trying to get the soph QB experience passing.
Gasilla Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Something told me at halftime that those Cats weren't ready to toss in the towel and they didn't disappoint. OF may not always be the most talented team you play, but they sure as heck ain't gonna quit fighting, ever.
