Goose Creek Memorial vs. Dayton Game Thread/Dayton 49-7 Final

Dayton is a state championship contender for sure.
They looked just a touch away when I saw them against Angleton.  You could tell they had the goods though.  They just needed to tighten up their execution and cut down their mistakes a little bit.
If they were to play Angleton in the playoffs, they would beat them by 25-30.

Toups Graphics prediction...
Dayton 49 GC Memorial 0

Pretty dang close.
Kudos to the Patriots for cashing in on a Bronco turnover.
My bet is that the Patriots probably had about 140 yards of offense.
Dayton's defesne is getting better and better every game.
Now it's time to put another 50 point or greater explosion on North Forest.
I really don't like that stadium.
Come to think of it...
This will be the first time the Broncos have played on natural turf all season.

# 14 for the broncos was catching he** from the GCM players after just about every play, someone would be pushing him way after the play was over and talking in his face, specially #15 for GCM, he stayed cool though
[/quote] Hmm you know why he stays cool? Cause he and #1 pray while everyone else is in the huddle before the game starts.

No stats for Baldwin,Herrera,McBride,Chambers rushing.Dayton D slacked up after a 35-0 scoring run w/9:48 in the 2nd qtr.and rotated some reserves in both ways.I am not a fan of holding em back for the reason they become complacent.Don't see Tivy slacking on anybody.

First downs 11 11
Hard to believe GCM had 11 first downs ?  Dayton also had alot more than 259 yards of offense ? Those must be the Chronicle stats !

The game was in Dayton so this is what your coaching staff submitted to the Chronicle.

This stat doesn't tell the real story;Jr.J Delasbour has been pulled out early in all 4 dist.games and has played 9-16 qtrs. rushing 45=524=11.6 per=9 td  rec.6=156=26 ypc=2 td  1 k/o ret=91 yds=1 td  tot=12 tds What could he put up in a complete game?Same goes for all the other stats w/starters playing less in lopsided wins. It's coming oct 29 full game starters.

Game Balls:

Jakari Delasbour...way to run hard and keep that ball tucked away, you've turn the corner young man.

Darrian Wright...biggest hit of the year right in front of the home crowd...CRUNCH!

#34 on Dayton at LB...good game

Xavier Baldwing for laying some big hits on Defense and Special Teams

GCM running back once they got out of the pistol formation.

No Balls:

Everybody tried in this one, with no glaring faults worthy of the no balls award. So, by default...

Crosby because they are Crosby.
