NDNWarrior Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 It was a good game.....hats off to BOTH Nederland and Central. I ALWAYS pull for both of these teams except when they're playing PNG...but I was MUCH impressed . A lot of heart and passion! Best of luck the rest of the season.

Realizing that what you're saying about the playcalling and halftime festivities is on target... give me something about the game? What did you see from the kids on the field who battled it out? Give us your game notes... and we've already got your thoughts on the playcalling. You don't have to defend your prediction that the game would be more like the 63-0 arse whippin, hey based on the previous games from both teams, that may have been a reasonable thought on your part... but now you've seen both teams, give us the real scoop.[/quote]Whenever Central ran the ball between the tackles, they were more consistant. #15 showed signs of wearing down so they should've stuck with #21. SFA85 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Yeah okay Bulldog 8. On the goaline, Ned batted .500. Stopped the first attempt, gave up the winning score on the second....
baddog Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 I can only wonder why we gave up on the wildcat. Central couldn't stop it and all we needed was one more first down...then take a knee.We didn't play well either in the first half. We played about one minute of good football and scored. All I can say is what a game. This is one of those games that someone has to lose. Unfortunately, it was us. We fought the top team in district tooth and nail all the way to the end. We should have won, but it just wasn't meant to be. Hats off to Central for that final drive and that amazing catch at the one.

When was the last time central spread the ball that well in the air? #11 #19 #15 #9..... The young gun and his receivers did well. I give em an A.

BRONX ROX Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Besides central 20-4A is wide open for the 2/3/4 playoff spot. Yalls district is balanced and its hard to predict who is going to win on Friday. A little more consistency on a couple of teams and Central would be in trouble.
