English lesson of the day... The word "or".  It is used to denote choice, as in this "or" that, him "or" her, etc.  A companion word is "either"

Not to be confused with the word "are".  Though sounding similar, they are distinctly different, and have different distinct meanings.  So, the correct usage would be "how about this [b]or[/b] that", and [b]not[/b] "how about this [b]are[/b] that"
