demons95 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 I think HJ is undefeated. I work with a couple of the players dads. They beat Buna I think.
ttc123 Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Yes, HJ beat the Cougars in the first game of the season by a touchdown. They are both good teams, but I think Buna will come out on top in the Superbowl! :)
diamond dawg Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Undefeated has alot more impact than being beaten by HJ by just a touchdown. HJ has done nothing but improved since their first game of the season. But bottom line is this, there has been one team that might have challenged our kids atheleticism this year and it was not Buna by far....!
Yep Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 We shall see, HJ is very good but I would not count out East Chambers either. Well coached, and tough aggressive kids

Guest Porkchop Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Is Buna and HJ the only two teams in Lonestar? ;D
Painless1 Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Not sure! May want to watch out for EC Green! Heard practically the majority of the team was sick with a stomach bug when they played Buna! Heard they gave Hj a run for the money in OT!
diamond dawg Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Hj and east chambers will meet up in the 2nd round of the playoffs in which my opinion should be the Superbowl game. Even that being said, I still don't see buna all the way to the Superbowl!
ttc123 Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 How can you even say that? Have you seen Buna play? Our best players haven't even gotten to play much. They have to be taken out usually before the second half because of that stupid rule that you can't be more than 30 points ahead! But whatever! I guess we'll just see how it all works out.
diamond dawg Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Ok, maybe I should not have put it like that! The winner of the HJ-EC game will win the Superbowl, how bout that? Sound better? And, yeah your right, WE SHALL SEE!

Painless1 Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Saw some of the games yesterday with Lonestar, HJ looked good. Buna looked good too. I will have to say if both teams make it to the Superbowl it would have to be HJ. They have more speed and athleticism. Looked like EC Green was could be a contender maybe.
Yep Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Are there any others out there that worry about the welfare of the smaller kids that get stuck out there agianst the first stringers when the Mercy rule comes into effect? I watched a game this weekend, the team that was more than 30points ahead had all of their 3rd stringers on the field yet the losing team had their 1st stringers in. Needless to say the losing teams 1st string did not show "mercy" to the 3rd stringers.
diamond dawg Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 The mercy rule has to be the dumbest rule I ever heard of!
ttc123 Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Guess what Diamond Dawg???? Buna's going to the SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 Surly the EC kid playing with a 2-3 week old fracture of his arm and wearing a cast had a medical release provided to the board right?????????????
Yep Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 or is that just a pick and choose medical release clause?
Painless1 Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Great host for the playoffs HJ! GOOD FOOD! ESP. THE GUMBO! Only thing noticed there were some parents from HJ and Warren arguing in the parking lot. The Warren parent was accusing HJ of cheating! What was that about? She said something about some Lumberton kids? What was that about? Anyone can clue me in?
Betrayed Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010
or is that just a pick and choose medical release clause?
Or is it the kid decision to wanna play and his parents decision to let him play. By da way, She's a nurse!!...Its also none of your business and you really shouldn't be speaking on it. You don't have knowledge and sure don't know the details of his injury, so Hush!! Lucky he wasn't a 100% because the outcome "Could've" been different. You should focus on Buna and not the E.C kid. Go stir up some mess that way like yall did in the parking lot with the Warren parents...lol

Yep Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Oh it is the kid's decision, so we might as well let them decide if they want to go to school, or church, or what to eat for dinner because surely they know best, is she an orthopedic nurse? evidently not or her son would not be playing with a broken arm. And Sloe just coach up the other team and their would not have to be a "mercy" rule. Dont know anything about the parking lot Scalabrine we where cleaning up the stands because none of the flag parents came to help out (but oh you should know that)
