Silsbee's Ira Brooks

Ira has always been in the shadows of other head coaches. It is now time for him to step outand run a program on his own, I think this guy would be a good fit for some local schools. Always good with kids and really tries to develop positive young men.

Could not agree with you more. As much as I would hate to see Ira leave Silsbee, I would love for him to get a head basketball position somewhere.

Now that he has finished his degree, he can now fulfill that lifelong dream.

AAW, Ira was a assistant when I played under Joe Sigler from 94-98. He has always enjoyed molding young men and getting the best out of them. The same with Collins as well.
