We all know why the Cougars ran to Humble ISD for their new junior high district.
They got sick and tired of getting POUNDED by the Ponies every year.  Using your same logic, your varisty Cougars are in for a long Friday night.  If Galena Park can put up 42 points on the Cougars, the Broncos could double that playing their starters all night.

I really like this year's freshman group from Dayton. They are a bunch of smart, hard-working kids. As a JH group they lost more games than probably the previous 2 groups before them combined. But, they have worked their tails off and I don't think they've lost this year and that's saying something playing IKE and Elkins. Even if "the coogs come to play" I think it'll be a close game and we won't get "rolled".

Dayton Freshman do not give up points like the rest of the district (14 is the most). They are a ball control offense. Dayton vs Crosby freshman will be a good close game. Both groups have come a long way from JH days.

I just want to say those QB/RB are some players.  They did a great job.  But why does he slide at the end of plays.  There in the 4th quarter, the QB was sliding down or running out bounds and not finishing plays.  Again i want to say great job, i thought it was a good game.  I was just wondering if that he was coached to do that or just prefered.  I look forward some more match ups.

GCM's Freshmen A was missing 5 starters.  Starting FB/OLB, TB/OLB, WR/S, NT, WR.  It diffently hurt us depth wise.  I didnt want to make excuses.  My son said the kids are committed to winning with the team.  I know the team is bigger than one person but i hurt not having our full team of players.

Yes Sir you are correct.  WR - failure, not allowed to travel with team,  FB/OLB & NT - discipline from school, not allowed to travel with team.  5-2=3.  Again im not trying to make excuses.

Yes Sir, like i said i wasnt making excuses.  Some one else ask where several of our kids were.  I was just saying we were missing our starting lineup from a couple games ago.  Yes sir #8, he missed the dayton game due to bahavior issues or i believe that would have been different.  Always love the what ifs, but all we know is that ya'll won.
