Tonight, the Silsbee Tigers travel to Sour Lake to take on the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks in district 21-3A play. The Tigers (4-3, 1-1) are coming off a tough loss at home to Bridge City, 26-22, while the Hawks (2-5, 1-1) broke a 4 game losing streak by getting a district win over Hamshire-Fannett, 20-18. Both of these teams are battling for a playoff spot and a win tonight would help solidify a spot. Silsbee leads the all-time series with HJ, 7-1, after winning last year's game, 56-26.
