ThirdnLong Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Lovelady isn't nearly as good as they were last year; 1a teams that big and talented don't come around very often. This year they have quite a few sophomores starting. Three of their best players missed significant time to injuries during the pre-district schedule and they scheduled some tough teams. Young players + injuries early + tough opponents = poor record. They are at full strength now.My guess is that they might win 1 or 2 playoff games (maybe), but they won't go very far. They should be better next year.
