Ya. Crosby didnt show up to the game. They were looking at the next week against Dayton. Rookie mistake that a lot of High School players do. Hope BH shows up to play tomorrow and next week. They need the playoff spot.

GCM was not lucky against Crosby.  They beat Crosby like a drum for 2 quarters.  Crosby came back second half and made a game of it.  Crosby never stopped GCM, even into OT.  GCM won that game on all sides of the ball, including special teams.

crosbys qb Merka was injured in that game, we sat and listened to the game on GP field after our stomping of the yellow jackets a game hardly anybody had faith in us to win.
as long as we hold on to the ball we should have a good night.there gunnin for us as our rivals cant wait till tomorrow

GCM played them so well cause the kids were worried more about the next week. Crosby didnt even show up the first half thinking they had it in the bag. After half time they came out ready to play which is why they pulled the game back. If Crosby could play them again and play the whole game Crosby wins by 3 TD.

i think crosby has gottin lucky this season, look at all the teams in 19-4a most of them arent that great. top three would be
1.dayton(obviously)
2.Barbers hill
3. i give it a tie between Galena Park And Crosby
i think they both are about the same.
19-4a is not a hard district. cant wait till playoffs its gunna get a lot tougher. maybe someone will shut dayton down ealry.

IF you were there you would have seen Crosby never stopped GCM offense.  The only thing that stopped GCM was GCM.  If it werent for penalties and turnovers and not covering 2 fake punts it would have never even been tied.  Why do you have to belittle an achievement by trying to make excuses for other teams.  Crosby's defense never made any adjustments to stop GCM.

Dayton isnt going to get stopped until at least the third round. 19-4a is a weak district but the top teams arent that week. They will go atleast 50% percent this year against 20-4a maybe even better. BH will have to step it up to beat LC-M if thats the first playoff game for them. Based on this weeks game LIV vs LC-M

Crosby Defense never makes adjustments. Haven't once this year. Their team is based off an offense. When they didnt show up that first half the whole team didnt. GCM did have a good victory but we(as in everyone) knows they arent a very strong team. not enough experience.

i think that its going to be a tough game GCM hates us(BH) they're gunna come ready to play but so is BH and we seem to get better every week. every week we fix something that is wrong.

[/quote]The winner of that Brenham vs Dayton game (if they keep on winning) might just very well be playing in December.  Dayton's defense will be the key to that game.  If the offense can keep reducing their turnovers the Broncos might just beat the Bear Cubs in that game.

The BH Freshman are pretty good I think they have only lost to Dayton (this may just be in district not for the year), but have played them pretty close in the past. The Freshman just like the Varsity have been learning a new system and i don't think they are quite there yet despite the record.
