officials dont come to your locker room and get you. If you dont have a clock or know the time remaining, you send the water boy to check the clock and give you a heads up. Its  not the officials fault that Crosby was not on the field at 7pm. Its not the fact that they held up the game its just RESPECT for symbol of freedom that many of us have put our lives on the line for.

Texas High School Football - Crosby routed by Dayton

(October 29, 2010: Dayton, TX 77535) The Crosby Cougars football team (Crosby, TX), was ripped 42-3 in Friday's league challenge with the host Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX)

The Broncos (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against King (Houston, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region III District 19 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, King trounced North Forest (Houston, TX), 26-20, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Barbers Hill for a 4A Region III District 19 challenge on Friday, November 5. Crosby will meet a Eagles team coming off a 19-0 league win over Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.

I grew up in Dayton, and we could never understand why Crosby always tried to make our games more important than they were.  Our rivalry game back then was Liberty, and we could care less about Dayton.  It now seems like Dayton/Crosby is the rivalry.  I have seen film of the "illegal tackle" from the side and the endzone view.  It most definately was not illegal, and should not have deserved a flag.  The flag was thrown by a ref that was about 25 yards away and in front of the play.  The Crosby player grabbed the jersey of the runner, nothing wrong with that, when the player was attempting to plant his leg, resulting in the leg snapping.  Nothing intentional, just bad luck.

Nope he was blocking the CROS players hands with his facemask clearly. Just ask Cougtalk............Oh forgot he was the only one to man up and show some faith in his team when Tyrone put the challenge out there so we wont be hearing from him untill next year................

Must have been a clause in the fine print. Cougtalk is just a poor, lonely, and disheartened individual who has been let down by his team. They just couldn't play or live up to the high standard he had set. He will be OK, I think that Crosby as a whole would be a lot better off if they replaced that PA announcer. Man he is horrible, you can actually hear him mumble stuff when their opponents make a play or score. No matter how bad they are losing he always yells Crosby first down like they just won the Superbowl.

You should have heard the Huffman announcer before the UIl put a squeeze on him.  He was VERY bad!

Never heard him but, Lumbertons announcer is by far the worst I've ever heard, even worse than Crosby's.
