smith Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I watched this game on the "All Access" stream. First time I've used that. That's a great feature. I wanted to head out there but couldn't.
coachacola Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I looked at the roster and they have a ton of freshmen and sophomores on the team. They'll keep getting better each year, but for them to make the SLC tourney this year they'll need some help.
ForeverADog Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 They need Nicholls, who is winless, to tie or beat UCA on Sunday to get in the tourney.
bigred360 Posted October 30, 2010 Author Report Posted October 30, 2010 Don't look probable, but they had a great season and the team is young.
coachacola Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 They made the soccer tourney.http://www.lamarcardinals.com/sports/w-soccer/spec-rel/103110aab.html
bigred360 Posted November 1, 2010 Author Report Posted November 1, 2010 This will be a great experience for the women's soccer program as they are young and will only get better next year. Congratulations to the Lady Cards!
Rockin A Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 I took my 11-yr soccer-playing daughter to the victory over McNeese Friday night, and as much as I was blown away by the facility, I was even more impressed by the players who took the time to autograph posters and pictures for their young fans after the game. It made a huge impression on her to see LU win and then be so personal and friendly to a huge group of young soccer players and admirers. It made this Lamar alum very proud. Thank you, ladies, and I wish you the best of luck at the conference tourney.
