Heck, I'm very disappointed with the offense. Then the defense can't seem to stop the run. I'm sure they were well over 100 yard rushing. The special teams had problems today with a blocked extra point, personal foul attempting to block a punt and the kicker kicked the ball out of bounds. Then they keep Pooch Kicking off and giving the other teams offense great field position.

I think they will spoil NWSU's homecoming. I think they've gotten some good draws on the last two games, a TSU team that was down after a 4OT loss to Nicholls and a UCA team that is usually up and down week to week.

I listened to the 3rd quarter.  I thought Lamar had a chance when they were only down 14-6 but things went downhill fast.  Way too many mistakes were made and it took less than a quarter for the game to get out of hand.

Let us stop all the hating on each other and realize two things.  First the majority of our coaches have never coached at this level in the last 3 years.  Second most of our players have not played at this level.  In my opinion we must get better at coaching and bring in better players and maybe just maybe we can get competitive.  Now you can hate on me or whatever but it is not about me but about them.

+1....Let's keep supporting the Cardinals. I don't think the problem is effort. I just don't think we have the players yet to compete with most of these FCS teams. We need a good off-season of hitting the weights and conditioning for our lineman. We need help in the quarterback and running back positions (bigger, stronger and faster). I'm also definitely not impressed with our freshman kicker. I just think we have some talent issues. Our coaches have to get some better players in here. I also realize this takes some time. Let's not get too down on the coaches and players, I think they are trying. Let's just give our program time to get better.

If Lamar wanted to go undefeated they would have played South Alabamas schedule, but instead they chose to play a pretty rough FCS schedule.  I think it is a good thing they scheduled hard games so going into next year they know where they stand in the SLC.  Sure they need to make some improvements but every team needs to do that.  The McNeese game got everyones expectations way high for this season and people are throwing them under the bus cause they are not winning.  South Alabama will get a wake up call when they get in the Sun Belt and have to play real schools.  I would rather take lumps this season and go 4-7 than go 10-1 with a cream puff schedule then get to the real games next year and go 1-10 and wonder what happened to a team that went 10-1 but was never tested.  I think this schedule makes them a better team next year and if you just want to bash on em now then get off the wagon cause we want fans not people who only point out the negative in every game.  let this team grow and get up to full scholarships and a few transfers like every other FCS team in the country gets and I belive this team will be fighting for a SLC title and a NCAA berth in the playoffs.  Ok so now that I have said my peace let the smiteing begin!!!!
