Yes, Texas A&M where there looking at both Ford and Diboll's Taylor. I'm sure Fords performance increased their intrest in him, while Taylor put the ball on the ground too much. Taylor is only a Jr. so he'll have another full year to impress the scouts.

My dad graduated a yr or two before Bean and he still talks of how he ran.  Said that he was one of the fastest most violent runners he'd ever seen.

I remember Him well too... Bubba had rather run over you than around you...Once he got three steps on you he was going all out...I remember tacklers that had tried to tackle Him before would just stick out their arms like they were trying to tackle him...The toughest runner to come out of Kirbyville in my opinion..
