puddin tane Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 from Rivals, 2009Little is a mammoth pocket passer with great height and significant bulk. Unfortunately, with all the spread concepts dominating college football, he may have a hard time finding a spot as just a pure pocket guy with arm strength when every one wants the dual-threat guy.6'5" 250 lbs...sounds like Roethlisberger...not much of a threat to scramble..thats good!thats one big kid...wonder if you can sack him....
coachacola Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 And in the other Lamar forum it's being reported that Doug Prewitt will start for Lamar.

Maybe they will even let him pass. I can't believe how we ended the last game against UND just running the damn ball. It would have been a perfect opportunity to let Prewitt get some real reps..instead we tell him to just go in and hand the ball off. How idiotic.
ForeverADog Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 As long as he protects the ball I'll be happy. Hope they actually go through with starting him.
JJWooten Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Before you rag on Drew Little too much for his height, he is a REALLY good passer:Little, Drew 7 games played143.96 passer rating112-173-4 for 64.7%1216 yards13 TDsThey are a very well balanced team, 146 ypg rushing and 190 ypg passing.

He's a good QB...but his longest run of the year is 7 yds...one thing we shouldnt have to worry about too much is him scrambling.
